25 Weeks Pregnant
You have successfully passed the six months of pregnancy. All the hard work has been done already and your baby is growing and maturing quickly. It is a good time to sing same songs or nursery rhymes to your baby daily. This will help the growth of two halves of baby’s brain, particularly to form a link between the two. At 25 weeks pregnant, the voice of mother is the more familiar one for a baby and she also respond to the deep male voices.
Development in 25th Week Pregnancy
At this stage, your baby weighs around 680-850 grams. The lungs are still developing and air sacs packed in a network of blood vessels appears in them.

Presently, there is no air in them, though amniotic fluid is present which helps baby to practice breathing by inhaling and exhaling this fluid.
Appearance in 25th Week Pregnancy
Although, she looks like a full term baby, her arms and legs are still very thin. The fat deposits continue to build under her skin and accounts for 1 percent of her total weight. Her head still appears a bit larger than rest of her body.

At 25 weeks pregnant, your baby is getting more active and energetic with every passing week. She is still having enough space in the uterus so she can move, twist, and turn freely. She uses her hands to grab other parts of the body such as feet, head, umbilical cord etc.
Common Pregnancy Symptoms
Pregnancy symptoms in week 25 remain the same as of previous week:
- Breast tenderness and fullness and darkening of areola
- Frequent/Regular Urination
- Stretch Marks and Itching
- Constipation, Indigestion and Headaches
- Round Ligament Pains
- Hemorrhoids
