At this stage, all the current organs are developing and growing. The growth and development is necessary to make these organs stronger. The weight of your baby at this stage would be around 100 grams.

The baby’s entire body is covered with soft, fluffy lanugo which appears in a swirly or twisted pattern just like fingerprints. Your baby still has a very delicate, soft and thin skin.

An ultrasound scan at this stage will show you quick eye movements suggesting as if your baby is dreaming. She keeps on practicing breathing though the umbilical cord still remains the major source of oxygen supply for her.
