11 Weeks Pregnant
At 11 weeks pregnant, your baby has grown to the size of small lime. Majority of her organs will develop completely by the end of this week and start functioning as well. This means that your pregnancy is now in safer phase where the risks of miscarriage are reduced. Her body is now having some tough resistance to external risks.
Development in 11th Week Pregnancy
By this point, the heart of your baby is busy supplying blood around the body as well to the developing parts in the placenta via the umbilical cord. The ears are now taking place on the sides of head from neck. The middle and inner ears are now developed fully. Although, the gender of your baby is yet not clear from outside the body, the ovaries and testicles have already formed inside.

Appearance in 11th Week Pregnancy
At this stage, your baby is now settled herself in a fetal position, i.e. bent down her chin and knees curled up. In spite of being in awkward position, your baby is active and energetic. The growth of her limbs slow because your baby has not yet started moving them.
These movements of your baby are extremely vital as these movements ensure stronger muscles and rapid growth of your baby. The head still seems out of proportion to rest of the body. The face of your baby is now getting in shape with recognizable features.

Movement in 11th Week Pregnancy
At 11 weeks pregnant, you will notice that your baby is stretching her arms and legs and moving her spine. You can observe in an ultrasound scan the opening and closing of her mouth.
Common Pregnancy Symptoms
You may experience following symptoms at this stage of pregnancy:
- Breast changes including tenderness, fullness, and darkening of the areola.
- Frequent Urination
- Nausea, Fatigue and Morning Sickness
- Constipation
- Heartburn and Headaches
